This the ECM T IV Profi Rotary (formerly known as the Technika). It is the latest version from ECM Manufacture. We have one on our demo bench too. It is available in white too as a special order (10 to 12 weeks).
How good?By: Greg on 3 October 2017We purchased our ECM around 2009 and packaged with the barista course (essential in my view) we also purchased a mini mazer at the same time. We have made close to 5000 coffees. The average cost of each coffee is now around $1.30. But the quality is supreme and better than 999/1000 coffee shops. The reason I would recommend the electric controlled mazer esp for home use is that over the long haul you have less waste of ground beans. The storing of ground beans in the manual mazer is slightly wasteful .
I Should Have Bought This Machine Long AgoBy: Bob on 31 August 2016The coffee produced by this machine easily matches the best of the coffee shops in my regional town. After one week of use I just about have my crema and milk texturing down pat. Can't wait until my barista skills match the capability this machine offers.
Worth the moneyBy: johnno on 31 August 2016I have been using this machine for a week. The finish on the machine is excellent, its quiet when operating and my coffees are now at a professional level in taste and appearance. The advice and service I received from JetBlack Espresso was also 5 stars. Thanks!
Looks and delivers the goodsBy: Michael on 26 April 2016Well I am new to such a serious machine but I'm getting there. I used some of my old beans to try everything out and the flavour difference between my old Saeco machine and this ECM is amazing. Now I am onto some JetBlack beans and wow so good. I still need practice at getting the coffee hot enough and the milk for a flat white just right but as I said, I'm getting there.
