DF83V Performs Extremely Well

By: on 19 February 2026
I have just purchased this grinder, replacing my aging but still working well Rancilio Rocky. The difference is really noticeable in that the grind is more consistent and produces a richer flavour. It is easy to use and to clean. Being able to do individual shots works for me which is the downside of a grinder having a hopper. In addition it grinds 100% of the dose and ejects it all into the doser cup. I seldom have to use the bellows attachment in order to have all the grind being emitted. AND it looks really cool next to my La Pavoni. I am not sure who will fully utilize the high speed grind at 1600 RPM but I have it set at 500 and it performs well.
