The Lelit Distribution Tool - 58.55mm
The Lelit distribution tool enables you to balance the density of your ground coffee before you tamp it. As a result, you'll have a more even and full flavoured extraction, and avoid extraction problems like channelling, doughnuting, and over & under extraction in the same shot.
Unlike standard 58mm distribution tools, which leave a gap between the edge of the base and the basket, the Lelit Distribution Tool has a diameter of 58.55mm. This allows for maximum contact and distribution of the coffee in your basket!
This tool is height adjustable to suit single, double and triple baskets.
Machines with 58mm group heads are compatible with the 58.55mm Distribution Tool.
The "Tool".By: Kevin Tait on 18 August 2020The ultimate consistency tool. Get your grind and amount right, then use this great tool. Tamping becomes so easy. Consistent shot after shot.
Game changerBy: Dean on 12 May 2020This tool is great, I no longer need to tamp and my shots are much more consistent. Taken my coffee to the next level.
Lelit Distribution Tool 58mmBy: Dietrich Timm on 30 October 2018I did get myself more or less talked into the purchase of this tool by what I thought to be a very knowledgeable lady. I am so glad that I did! After being a bit apprehensive I soon changed my mind. That tool distributes the grind so well that only a light tamp is required with close enough to perfect results. I've used the tool for about 10 days and cannot fault it. Thumbs up to Jetblack Espresso
