The Espro Tamper reduces variation in tamping pressure. It is designed to click once the correct tamping pressure is reached.
Now stocking a number of different sizes.
Note that 58.35mm flat black is suitable for the vast majority of "nominal" 58mm group heads - eg VST, Silvia, E61, Lelit PL60T, Mara, Profitec, Giotto to name a few. Obviously the standard 58mm tampers will also work with these group heads, but the 58.35 will typically be a better fit.
Solved the ProblemsBy: Phil on 13 January 2019Finally, I'm getting a good, consistent puck that doesn't crack as the water hits it. This (along with a good grinder) fixed my watery espresso problem.
Great toolBy: Ed Butt on 29 November 2018It’d be 5 stars if a little cheaper. Great tool, you can feel the quality. The calibration is excellent as it provides a consistent tamp for every family member. Once dialed, in the grind is good for all.
Great Product and Fast Delivery!By: Martin Fleck on 31 January 2018I was surprised to find that the delivery was way faster than expected, which allowed me to get to making great coffee quicker! Great product and apart from adjusting the grind size to match (I was guessing before with tamp pressure) this product was able to make consistently great coffee!
Espro TamperBy: Mark on 27 July 2017Very pleased I chose this tamper with 30 pound pressure every time - it takes one of the variables out of the equation of creating a near perfect expresso.
