The Lelit Distribution Tool - 57mm
The Lelit distribution tool enables you to balance the density of your ground coffee before you tamp it. As a result, you'll have a more even and full flavoured extraction, and avoid extraction problems like channelling, doughnuting, and over & under extraction in the same shot.
This tool is height adjustable to suit single, double and triple baskets.
Machines with 57mm group heads are compatible with the 57mm Distribution Tool.

Surprisingly excellent.
By: Tim on 3 February 2020This attractive, solid, massy tool is a real life saver / game changer. It does what it says in the description incredibly well. I haven’t had a bad shot since I started using this little beauty. I know it says coffee distribution “Before” tamping, but it just so happens that loading my porta-filter with the correct amount of coffee grounds, and four clockwise twists of the stunningly simple device, produces a double win for me, Perfect coffee Distribution, and Perfect Tamping in one operation. It’s bizarre I haven’t used my tamper for months. No more drill throughs, no more doughnuts, and no side sinkholes. No over tamps, no under tamps. Just really good espresso I am delighted with this piece of kit and recommended it thoroughly. My only grumble is has rendered my expensive tamper redundant. Any one want the tamper?
