The Pullman Barista Tamper in Red Burgandy is the best choice for the professional barista or the home barista searching for the ultimate coffee tamper. Perfectly balanced it is a great feel in the hand, and with the rubber base cone, ergonomic too!
The Barista was primarily designed for use with an anodized aluminium handle and in this combination will provide a balanced tamper. It is the most resilient of the three materials and with a choice of nine colours it has the widest and arguably the most striking aesthetic spectrum.

The strength and balance of this handle would make it an ideal choice for a commercial outfit or for a home barista looking for a tamper with a contemporary look. Aluminium is an inherently soft material and anodizing is a process that affects the surface of the aluminium itself, making it harder and allowing the application of colour at the same time. So what you touch is not paint but metal with a hardened surface to make it more resistant to dents.
The tamper's impervious materials mean it can be easily washed or wiped to get it clean in a flash, and the intense colours provide a great contrast for custom engraving.
58.4mm is a popular size for fitting with VST baskets and most e61 machines, but if you're unsure of the exact size you need, please contact us before ordering. We'll ensure that your tamper will fit in your baskets! If you purchase any basket(s) along with a tamper in the same order, we'll guarantee it has a great fit before we send it out to you.
This tamper can be ordered with a flat base or a convex base - please specify your preference when ordering. Unless you have a preference for flat, we recommend convex.
