By: Greg on 16 January 2024Ups the steam temperature from 125c as standard to 140c, it was an upgrade i'd read about online so thought i'd try it. Takes slightly longer to reach temperature and in conjunction with the upgraded steam wand works great on my Lelit PL42. Certainly hasn't done any harm, i replaced my element at the same time so with quite a few new parts inside the old girl it's hard to know how much of a difference it makes. It wouldn't be hard to return it to standard, two screws remove cover and terminals unscrew thermostat install old one and put back together.
