La PavoniBy: Shelley on 5 December 2017Pulls great shots, not as hard to use as expected. Three holed steam nozzle is a little tricky to use but getting easier with practise. Good service from jet black, very helpful lady on the phone. Delivered on time in perfect condition.
exceptional espressoBy: Nick on 3 June 2016I had used a friends europicollo which I loved but found the small water tank a little frustrating. This is no issue with the professional being able to make many coffees before refills required. The machine looks like a beautiful work of art with elegant Italian design and gleaming chrome. The quality of the espresso is exceptional with the creamiest of cremas. I was already familiar with the technique needed on these lever machines having used a friends and really enjoy the process of making the perfect shot. In my opinion the quality attainable far exceeds any semi or fully automatic machine anywhere near the price of this beautiful machine. But you have to be willing to put in a bit more time and craft for your coffee, which I enjoy but some people may not. The steam wand is powerful and stretches milk well. Not as good as a commercial machine but excellent for a machine of this size. My only complaint here is the angle of the wand and compact size of the machine makes it tricky to get the angle of the jug right and see what you're doing. I have paired the professional with the compak K3 push grinder and am very happy with my home set up. I just struggle to find a better coffee out these days
