The Lelit PL41TEMD is a good quality Italian espresso machine capable of making cafe quality coffee at home. The built in PID temperature controller ensures stable brew water temperature which is vital for great tasting espresso. The PID also controls the steam pressure to ensure strong, consistent steam. The stainless steel and brass construction ensures a long service life.
The PL41TEMD has a 3 way valve so that the group handle can be immediately removed after brewing. This valve also allows the machine to be backflushed. This feature makes the machine easy to use and easy to clean.
The Lelit PL41TEMD has a built in brew pressure gauge which shows whether the brew pressure is optimal. (Too little pressure indicates an under extraction, too much pressure indicates an over extraction). The gauge will also indicate when maximum pressure is reached while backflushing - so that you know when to turn the pump off.
For the first time on a Lelit model, the PL41TEMD has a true 9BAR OPV fitted. This ensures the brew is at the optimal pressure so that bitter coffee does not result as a consequence of high brew pressure. This pressure will be able to be read off the brew pressure gauge when extracting a shot.

Quality and reliabilityBy: John Buhagiar on 12 July 2019Had this machine shipped from Sydney to Cairns without hitches. Has been going strong for 2 years without a hint of problems. Not bulky, looks good, great build quality and coupled with a nice grinder and fresh beans makes lovely coffee. Like all single boilers it is not efficient at making lattes but luckily am an espresso drinker. Brings a smile to my face every morning. Very happy with the service from Jet Black and absolutely no regrets on purchasing this machine.
Lelit Anna with PIDBy: Joel on 20 May 2019I am sorry to say I absolutely love this machine. I am a delighted customer. Perhaps someday something will go wrong, but it's going very well at the moment. It's very easy to make superb coffee and all the customers in my home are impressed. I give it 5 stars
Great machine!By: Jay on 7 November 2018Makes a brilliant coffee, easy to use, loads of steam wand power and love the PID!
Great little machineBy: Tim Cotterill on 15 September 2018What to say? It’s small. It’s pretty. It makes SUPERB Coffee, afrter a bit of tuning the grind size. Finding texturing milk a little difficult, but that’s my fault (sometimes I get it right the milk is thick, creamy & glossy like paint). This is a Big step up from the Breville machine it replaced. Amazing value for money. Super support from a great business. Thanks JB. Can’t get the starts rating to set on this review, but it’s definitely a five out of five.
It's a winnerBy: Ticia on 6 July 2018Shopping online I chanced upon a review about the Lelit and took the plunge. I haven't been disappointed. Once you get your grind right the machine produces consistently great coffee and the steamer wand is sturdy and efficient. As a single boiler machine it needs to be primed after steaming by pumping hot water through the steam wand. Haven't had to do this before so was a bit nervous about remembering but it doesn't take too long to get the hang of it and now it's just part of the process. What was a standout for me was the service by Jetblack Espresso. Prior to dispatching my order they called to confirm. They also tested and primed the machine before they sent it on its way. They even included a simplified version of instructions to ensure that even those not inclined to read instructions had some idea of what they were doing! Can't fault the machine but even better was the service from Jetblack Espresso.
