How It Works

Fill the hopper with fresh beans, select one of the saved recipes and slide your portafilter into place. The grinder detects the portafilter, grinds to your chosen weight or time target and stops automatically. The Disc Distance Detection system adjusts the burrs electronically for steady results. You can also switch to manual mode when you want full control.

Despite some technical challenges connecting the device to the WiFi in my home, the machine is an absolute game changer. The problem appeared to be an incompatibility with my particular WiFi setup at home which would not get the macine connected to the app. So I took it to work, configuerd it there and then took the grinder back home and manually connected it to the home WiFi and everything now works along with the connected scale. Having the portafilter recognition and grind by sync allows my wife and I to use a different portafilter and grind setting which don't interfere with the others. So no more complaints that I have made the grind too fine or coarse for her setup! The other amazong thing is that small changes to the grind occur automatically to each separate recipe as each shot is analysed by the yeild and shot time. This grinder is not for everyone and certainly not for a novice but for the technically minded it is an absolute game changer at getting the grind perfectly dialled in.
