Reusable Metal Filters From Able
Able concentrates on permanent filters that replace paper in popular manual brewers. The result is less waste in the bin and a filter you can rinse and use again, which suits anyone who brews every day.
Able Disk for the AeroPress
The Disk comes with two hole sizes. The standard disk has 254 micron holes and lets through a little more fine material, which gives a fuller body. The fine disk has 152 micron holes and is aimed at a sweeter, cleaner cup with very little sediment. The fine version is far thinner than the standard one, so it needs careful handling, while the standard disk is the sturdier choice for heavy use.
Kone Filter
The Kone is a stainless steel cone made for the Chemex, with a plastic support ring that rests on the carafe and makes it easy to lift out after brewing. The holes are spaced more densely toward the bottom, a layout intended to keep water moving evenly through the grounds whether you brew one cup or a full batch. Because it is a single seamless piece with a polished finish, there are fewer corners for grounds and oils to cling to. It also suits several automatic drip brewers, so ask us to confirm your model.
Choosing and Getting Help
Pick the fine disk if clarity matters most and you are happy to treat it gently. Pick the standard disk for body and durability. Everything here is available online and in-store, and our team can talk through the AeroPress, filters and grind size that suit the way you brew.
