Aillio Bullet Coffee Roasters

Aillio designs the Bullet range for professional use, and most buyers are roasteries, cafes and green bean sellers, though ambitious home roasters buy them as well. Both models use induction heating.

What Sets the Bullet Apart

Power is delivered in stages, up to fourteen on the R2 PRO, and the R2 and R2 PRO hold power control to within half a percent. Temperature is tracked with built-in sensors, and both models have FlowSense, which manages fan speed and warns you when chaff or a blockage restricts airflow.

Software for Repeatable Roasts

Roasts are logged and analysed in RoasTime, Aillio's desktop software for Mac, Windows and Linux. The Roast.World cloud lets you sync data, keep cupping notes and share profiles with other roasters, which makes consistency easier to achieve.

Choosing a Model

The R2 roasts up to 1kg per batch. The R2 PRO steps up to a larger 1.2kg batch with more power stages and an extra cooling tray, which suits anyone starting a roasting business. Think about your batch size, your power supply and your space before deciding.

Frequently asked questions

The R2 is rated for up to 1kg per batch, while the R2 PRO is rated for 1.2kg. Ideal batch size is usually lower than the maximum, so tell us how much you plan to roast and we can help you choose.

Both use induction heating and FlowSense airflow control. The R2 PRO offers a larger 1.2kg batch, more power stages and a second cooling tray, and it draws more power. It is aimed at people building a roasting business.

The range is built for professional use, but ambitious home roasters buy it too. It is a serious machine rather than a casual appliance, so consider the space, power supply and the amount of coffee you actually want to roast.

The Bullet works with RoasTime, which handles logging, analysis and automation on Mac, Windows and Linux. The Roast.World cloud adds data syncing, cupping notes and profile sharing. Ask our team how these fit with your roasting workflow.

The R1 V2 has been replaced by the R2, which has finer power control, FlowSense airflow management and easier maintenance. If you are after a Bullet, the R2 is the place to start, and our team can talk you through the differences.
