Roasters work hard. They move hot air, collect chaff and handle repeated heating cycles, so a few components need regular attention. This range covers Hottop and Gene Cafe parts, with a single Aillio item.

Hottop Parts

Hottop is the largest group here, with parts listed by their P-code: filters, heating element, fans, chaff trays, cooling tray and agitator arm, and the roasting drum. Hottop's filters are the usual consumables. Replace the rear filter after about 20 roasts and the fragile top filter far less often, though these are guides, so check your manual. A clogged filter restricts airflow and can make a roaster run hot.

Gene Cafe Parts

Gene Cafe roasters use a drum that rotates off-axis in a hot air stream, with a glass drum that lets you watch the beans. Parts here include the heater assembly, blow fan, geared motor assembly, motor gear, side covers and swing arm blade cushion. Each carries a manufacturer code, so match it before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

Change the rear filter about every 20 roasts and the top filter much less often, perhaps every 100. These are rules of thumb, so check your manual and replace sooner if a filter looks clogged or damaged.

Filters keep chaff and particles out of the airflow. When they clog, airflow drops and the roaster can run hotter than the display suggests, which affects roast quality and safety. Replacing filters on schedule is simple and inexpensive.

Use the part code in the listing title, which is the manufacturer's reference, and match it to your manual or your old part. If in doubt, tell us your Gene Cafe model and send a photo of the part, and we will check.

Only if you are confident working with electrical parts. Roasters carry mains power and hot components, so mistakes can be dangerous. Unplug the roaster, let it cool fully, follow the manual, or arrange for a qualified technician to fit it.
