Steam and Frothing Accessories
Good milk texture starts at the end of the steam wand. This collection focuses on the steam tip, the small replaceable nozzle that shapes how steam enters the milk and so affects how easily you can build fine microfoam.
What Is in the Range
The tips here have two, three or four holes, with hole sizes such as 1.2mm, 1.4mm and 1.5mm. Fittings include 8mm male, 10mm female and hex versions, and there are branded options for Lelit, Profitec and ECM, including an ECM Cool Touch style. Part numbers appear in several titles.
Looking After Your Steam Setup
Milk residue can block the holes and disturb the steam pattern, so wipe the wand and purge it after every use. If you see uneven steam, noisy frothing or poor foam despite good technique, check the holes and the nozzle seal. A worn or blocked tip is inexpensive to replace.
Matching a Tip to Your Machine
Tips are largely brand and model specific, so thread type and diameter matter more than hole count. Remove the existing tip, check whether it is male or female, and measure the thread before choosing. We can help in person at our showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Newcastle and Kiama, or when you contact the team with your model.
