Espresso Machines by Brand
Choosing a brand is often the first step toward choosing a machine, because each maker leans toward a particular style: compact, quiet, traditional, lever, or built for volume. This page groups our machines by manufacturer, so you can compare them before you narrow down a model.
What Sets the Brands Apart
Profitec, a German maker, spans compact single-boiler machines through heat exchanger and dual boiler models to lever designs. Ascaso is based in Barcelona and builds home and commercial machines with a focus on functional design. Rocket is a Milan maker of domestic espresso machines. Lelit is an Italian brand with a broad range of machines and grinders, and ECM Manufacture is a German name with single boiler, heat exchanger and dual boiler machines. Nurri's range includes lever, compact heat exchanger and dual boiler options. You will also find Bezzera, Elektra, Expobar, Isomac, Izzo, Kees van der Westen and La Marzocco.
Boiler Types in Brief
A single boiler is simple and compact, but you wait between brewing and steaming. A heat exchanger brews and steams at once from one boiler. A dual boiler gives each task its own boiler for fine temperature control, while a lever machine puts the brew pressure in your hand.
See Them in Person
Many machines are on display in our showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Newcastle and Kiama, and the team can often demonstrate them. Our workshop and spare parts store can look after your machine afterwards, and we run barista courses to help you get more from it.
