AeroPress Brewers for Home, Work and Travel

The AeroPress is a manual brewer that is quick, forgiving and easy to clean. It suits anyone who wants a good cup without a big machine on the bench.

How It Brews

You add coffee and hot water, stir, let it steep briefly and then press the plunger down. Air pressure moves the coffee through a small filter that holds back grit, and a brew takes about a minute. Afterwards you push out the used coffee as a compact puck and rinse the parts.

Original or Go

The original AeroPress is the straightforward choice for a kitchen or office. The AeroPress Go is designed to pack into its own included travel mug, which makes it handy for the car, the campsite or a suitcase. The Go makes a slightly smaller brew than the original.

Filters

Paper filters are listed here for regular use. If you would rather avoid paper, stainless steel Able Disk filters are in our Able collection, and they change the body and clarity of the cup depending on the hole size you choose.

Brewing With Help From Jetblack

A decent grinder matters as much as the brewer, so ask our team about grinders and grind size. Many grinders are on display in our showrooms.

Frequently asked questions

Both brew in a similar way. The Go is built for work, travel and the outdoors, and it packs neatly into its included travel mug. It makes a slightly smaller brew than the original, so choose by where you will use it.

Brewing hot coffee takes around a minute, including a short stir and the press. Cold brew with an AeroPress takes a little longer, around two minutes. Cleaning up is quick because the used coffee ejects as a single puck.

A medium-fine grind is a good starting point. Because you can change the steep time, many people adjust grind size to taste. A grinder with fine adjustment makes this easy, and our team can recommend one.

No. Paper filters are the standard option and we stock replacements, but reusable stainless steel filters such as the Able Disk also work with the AeroPress. They give a different feel in the cup, so ask us if you would like to try one.

Yes, that is what it is designed for. The brewer, plunger and accessories pack into the included travel mug, so it fits easily in a bag. You will still need a way to heat water and a source of freshly ground coffee.
