What to think about
How many coffees a day? Around 20 or fewer a day suits a prosumer machine like the Pro 500 or Drive. Beyond that, a commercial two-group keeps queues short at morning tea.
Who will make the coffee? Volumetric buttons and an on-demand grinder take the guesswork out, so anyone can make a consistent coffee.
Power and water. A plumbed machine never needs its tank refilled. If there's no plumbing in the kitchen, choose a tank machine. The Giulietta X runs off a standard 10 amp powerpoint.
Cleaning. Someone needs to backflush the machine and wipe the steam wand every day. It takes about five minutes, and it's what keeps an office machine reliable.
