Macap at Jetblack Espresso
Macap was founded in 1930 in the Venice area, and grinders have been central to its range ever since. This page covers both sides of ownership: the grinders themselves, and the burrs and electrical parts that keep them cutting.
Grinders for Home and Small Cafe Use
The M2D is the compact option, with 50 mm flat burrs. The M42 range steps up to 58 mm flat burrs, with a doser version and a digital on-demand version. The M2M and M4D appear alongside them, so compare the listings to see how each handles dosing and what suits your volume.
Burrs and Spare Parts
Burrs are wear parts and the cutting edge dulls over time, which shows up as slower grinding or a drift in your grind setting. The collection lists burr sets for the M4 and M4D, and 75 mm MXD burrs, plus M2 parts such as switches, a push button, a fork and a main board. Burr size and part codes vary by model, so match them carefully.
Advice From the Team
Not sure whether to buy a new grinder or refresh an old one? Visit one of our showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Newcastle and Kiama, where many grinders can often be demonstrated. Our workshop and spare parts store can also check compatibility with you before you order.
