Lunar or Pearl
Acaia designed the Lunar for espresso, where it sits on the drip tray, and the Pearl for manual brewing at home or in a shop. Either can do both jobs, but their size and features lean toward those uses. The Lunar tolerates spills and even full submersion, shows weight and time on a dual display, includes a flow rate indicator and can remember the weight of your favourite cup so it tares automatically. It connects over Bluetooth to Acaia's phone apps, which can log your brews.
Plates, Mats and Upkeep
Weighing plates, base plates and mats protect the scale and give cups a stable place to sit. A calibration weight lets you check accuracy over time, and protective film helps keep a Pearl looking good. The portafilter dosing cup is handy when you weigh coffee before it goes into the basket.
The Orbit Grinder
Orbit is a single dose focused grinder that pairs with the Lunar for grind by weight. It stops once the target weight is reached, so you do not need to weigh beans first. Acaia offers it with a choice of burr sets, and our listing is the version with Mazzer burrs. An app lets you adjust motor speed and save profiles.
