Elektra Micro Casa Machines and Spare Parts

Elektra makes the Micro Casa range of compact machines with a traditional look. The collection brings together the machines and the parts to keep them going.

Micro Casa Lever and Micro Casa SA

The Micro Casa Lever uses a spring-driven piston group. You pull the lever down to fill the group, then release it so the spring pushes water through the coffee. It has a brass boiler with a sight glass and a steam gauge that shows boiler pressure, not brew pressure, and finishes in copper and brass, chrome or a mix of the two. The Micro Casa SA offers an alternative operating style, so ask us how the two feel to use.

Looking after an Elektra

These machines suit people who enjoy hands-on espresso. Using softened water helps reduce scale, and a lever machine without a solenoid is cleaned differently, with a blank basket and a lever pull rather than backflushing. Gaskets, seals and elements are normal wear items.

Help from Jetblack

We stock parts for Micro Casa Lever and SA models, including elements and group head seals, and our workshop can service them. Machines may be on display in our showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Newcastle and Kiama, so come in and see the style for yourself.

Frequently asked questions

The Lever is operated by pulling and releasing a spring-driven lever, while the SA is the alternative option in the range. Ask our team to compare the two based on how you like to make coffee.

You pull the lever down against a spring to fill the group with water, then release it slowly so the spring pushes the water through the coffee. It is a hands-on method that suits people who like to be involved.

Softened water is recommended for the Micro Casa, and distilled or reverse osmosis water is best avoided. Scale is the main enemy of any boiler machine, so ask us about the right water for your model.

On the Micro Casa Lever, the gauge shows boiler steam pressure rather than brew pressure. It helps you see when the machine is ready and can hint at scale if readings run high.

Yes. We list elements, seals, gaskets, shower screens and portafilters for the Micro Casa range. Tell us if your machine is a Lever or SA, and whether it is an older model, so we can match the part.
