Espro Coffee Presses, Filters and Accessories
A plunger pot that leaves grit in the cup is a common complaint, and Espro's presses are designed to answer it. The brand has built its range around a two-stage filter, and we also stock related accessories.
P7 and P5 presses
The P7 is made from double-walled stainless steel, which helps keep coffee warm. The P5 is a glass version. Both use a double micro-mesh filter, with a very fine mesh nested inside a finer one, and the upper filter has a silicone gasket that seals against the carafe. Once you press down, extraction stops, so the coffee does not keep developing while you pour. Polished and brushed steel versions can go in the top rack of a dishwasher, while coloured ones should be washed by hand.
Travel press and extras
The Ultralight Travel Press is made for brewing on the move. Replacement filters for coffee and tea presses keep older presses going. The range also includes a tamper, a Toroid pitcher and a Deep Clean product, so ask us about those if you are building a home setup.
