Grimac Steam Valve Spares

Grimac is an Italian maker with professional machines in its catalogue and customers in many countries. Our selection here is tightly focused on the steam valve, the control that lets you switch steam to the wand when you are texturing milk.

What the Range Includes

Three items are listed: a Grimac steam valve with the code GR118, and a gasket and a seal for the Mia steam valve. Seals and gaskets are small parts, but they are what stop steam escaping around the valve stem, so they are the usual first suspects when the wand leaks.

Signs a Steam Valve Needs Attention

A wand that drips after use, hissing around the knob, or a knob that is hard to turn or feels loose can all point to a worn seal, gasket or valve. A replacement gasket is often the quickest and cheapest first step.

Confirming a Fit

Parts are tied to specific machines, so check the name and code in the title against your machine. Jetblack has a workshop and a spare parts store, and our team can help you work out which part you need.

Frequently asked questions

It controls the flow of steam from the boiler to the wand. Opening it lets you texture milk, and closing it should seal the line fully. When the seal or gasket wears, steam or water may leak even when the knob is closed.

Look for drips or hissing from the wand or around the knob when the machine is hot. A hard, cracked or flattened seal is a giveaway if you can inspect it. Let the machine cool completely before taking anything apart.

They are listed for the Mia steam valve, so assume they suit that model only. Other Grimac machines may use different valves, so check the title and ask us if you are unsure.

Confident owners often do, but the machine must be cool, unplugged and depressurised first, and you should note how the parts sit as you take them apart. If you are not comfortable, the Jetblack workshop can do the job.

Contact the team with your model, photos of the valve and any code stamped on it, or call into a showroom. We will help you confirm the right part before you order.
