Mahlkonig is a German maker of commercial grinders, and it has brought some of that engineering into home-sized models. The five grinders here cover very different jobs, so it helps to start with what you brew most.

EK43 and EK43S

Both use large 98 mm flat burrs mounted vertically, with stepless adjustment, and they are used well beyond espresso, from filter and pour over to batch brew. The EK43S keeps the same burr size in a shorter body with a smaller hopper, which can help where bench height is tight.

X54, X64 SD and E64 WS

The X54 is an on-demand home grinder with a large hopper that feeds the burrs directly. The X64 SD is a compact single dose grinder with 64 mm flat burrs and a wide stepless dial, built for switching between beans. The E64 WS is a home espresso grinder with grind-by-weight dosing and 64 mm burrs.
