Pallo cleaning tools for grinders and espresso machines

The Pallo tools here are simple hand tools that make daily bench cleaning quicker. The range is small, and each piece has a clear job.

The GrindMinder

This is a two-ended brush. One end carries replaceable natural bristles for sweeping grounds out of a grinder, and the other has stiff nylon bristles for clearing the bench. The head is low enough to slide under many machines. Always turn the grinder off before you brush it.

The Coffee Tool group head brush

One handle covers several jobs: a nylon brush for the group head, a scoop for measuring cleaning powder, and a pin that opens blocked steam tip holes. The angled handle has fins that help keep hot water off your hand. Backflushing only suits machines designed for it, so check your manual first.

Replacement brushes and choosing

Bristles wear out, so a replacement brush set saves buying a whole new tool. Choose the GrindMinder if grinder cleaning is your priority, and the Coffee Tool if the group head and steam tip need regular attention.

Advice from Jetblack

Our team can talk you through a sensible cleaning routine, and our workshop can service a machine when it needs more than a brush. Visit a showroom in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Newcastle or Kiama, or order online.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The brush heads are designed to be replaced, and replacement bristles are sold as a separate set. The replacement brush set in this collection is listed as suiting the Pallo Coffee Tool Brush, so check that against the tool you own.

It is aimed at group heads on commercial and E61 style machines. Backflushing is only for machines designed for it, so on other machines use the brush alone and follow your manual. Ask our team if you are unsure about your model.

It includes a small pin tucked inside the brush insert for clearing blocked steam tip holes, which is handy when milk residue builds up. It does not replace purging and wiping the wand after every use, which keeps holes from clogging in the first place.

Its head is low-profile and designed to slide beneath many machines to collect stray grounds. Clearances differ between models, so measure the gap under your machine if space is tight, or ask our team before you order.
