About Slayer espresso
Slayer Espresso is the trading name of Seattle Espresso Machine Corporation, based in Renton, Washington. Rather than adding more programs and buttons, the brand centres everything on one idea: the way water flows through the coffee shapes the flavour in your cup.
What flow profiling means
On a conventional machine, water meets the coffee at whatever rate the pump delivers. With flow profiling you can change that rate during the shot. A gentle start lets the puck saturate evenly, and the flow can then be raised or eased back to emphasise sweetness or soften harsh edges. Slayer builds its machines around splitting extraction into stages and adjusting the flow in each one.
Who it suits
Flow control rewards curiosity. If you enjoy dialling in a new coffee, tasting the differences and noting what worked, a Slayer gives you another powerful tool. If you prefer a quick, repeatable routine, a simpler machine may be a better fit. We would rather help you choose well than sell you more machine than you need.
Matching it to your setup
A machine with this much control deserves good partners. Choose a grinder that can make small, repeatable adjustments, buy fresh coffee, and plan your water supply carefully, because the extra control will not show if the basics are off. Allow for plumbing, power and bench space before you commit.
Our team can walk you through the Slayer range, compare it with other machines we stock and help you plan the install. Call Jetblack or visit a showroom to see what suits you.
