Replacement Steam Tips
When a steam wand starts to sputter or foam looks coarse, the tip is often the first thing to check. A tip is a small part, but it controls how steam leaves the wand, and replacing it can restore steam you thought had gone.
Hole Count and Size
This range offers two, three and four hole tips, in hole sizes such as 1.2mm, 1.4mm and 1.5mm. More holes give steam more spread and more volume, while fewer holes act more directly. The effect varies by machine, so match the tip to your machine first and experiment second.
Thread and Fitting
Fit is the part to get right. Check whether your wand takes a male or female tip, and note the 8mm or 10mm size shown in the title. Hex versions are tightened with a spanner. Some tips are made for specific brands, including Lelit, Profitec and ECM, and should be matched to those machines.
Fitting and Care
Let the wand cool, unscrew the old tip, and check the seal behind it before fitting the new one. Clean the tip regularly to prevent blockages. The Jetblack workshop and spare parts store can help you identify a tip, and our showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Newcastle and Kiama can look at your old tip in person.
